My name is Codette Gerusanovka. I’m an English country-girl with a degree in Engineering (that I don’t really use), a qualification as a Ski Instructor (which I do use), and a campervan named Charlie!
I love nature and do what I can where I can to help protect the environment. My happy place is out enjoying all the beauty the world has to offer; from stunning views to fresh fruit. Food is another passion of mine, and you can expect to find quite a few recipes scattered around this blog!
Another thing about me; I like making things by hand. There’s great satisfaction in knowing that you made this thing, it’s a useful thing, and it’s good and pure, and skillfully made. Taking the time to craft something, whether you’re making your own clothes, or making supper from scratch, is very calming. After all, they do say that knitting is the new yoga, maybe they should try kneading bread!
I believe in taking life at a calm pace, I don’t hurry. And I always remember what Baloo said:
